Fear

- Psalm 19:9
- **Do not give and take back – if you say you’re going to do something, do it!!**
- When you are fearful you are extremely prideful – then comes greed
- Old Testament – fear of God
- New Testament – love for God
- Treat people the way God would want you to treat them (reverential love/fear for God)
- God recognizes those who do not bow to fear
- Psalm 118:6-9
- **He is a shield around those who fear God**
- You either bow to Satan or you bow to God – no matter how bumpy the road is
- What you get from God is what you give to God; give to God in EVERY area of your life
- The courage that does not fear will panic
- ***DAILY!!!!!***
- Ask God to plow the heart and give it strength
- Sin is a sting of death
- Fear is a liar
- Fear, doubt and unbelief are slanderous to God
- Fear = selfishness --> greed
- Break 1st commandment (idolatry --> witchcraft)
- When you speak doubt/fear and don’t find out why you tick the way you do, you subject yourself to death
- When you operate in fear you call God a liar
- Your response to fear will determine your future
- In order to surrender to Him you must first know Him
- Hebrews 11:3 – faith prevailed
- Run with patience, perseverance and endurance
- If you honor what you feel around you it will kill you
- Strong will/personality will not finish the race – only God’s grace
- Total abandonment to self – let go of all chains of sin
- God gives grace to the humble, humility is a prerequisite, you must lose all elements of self
- Must have an attitude of the heart
- You must lose your natural confidence of self
- Fear has many leads in a prideful heart
- Fear or any of its friends – it breeds if we water it, nurse it, protect it, feed it or give it attention; they only increase in depth and strength
- The deeper the roots, the harder it is to pull up
- Bring EVERYTHING to God in prayer and supplication, even the most simple things
- Bring things to Him so that he may direct our paths
- This walk is a walk of faith for life
- Fear tolerated is faith contaminated
- Obedience and faith are the keys
- Every struggle is usually fear-based
- Fear gives Satan access to my life – fear-proof by the Word of God
- Little girls do not make it into the kingdom – giants will take them down
- I must resist fear because fear is afraid of the resistance. Resistance = faith
- Connect faith to God’s Word in heart, mind and words
- Lack of love = major stumbling blocks in your heart
- True fear of God = release of Satanic power
- Psalm 23
- Even if we are prayed through every situation, we still have the final choice
- Ask God to change, clean and purge you at all costs
- Do not be fearful of what’s in front of us
- Godliness + contentment = great gain
